Post Modern Group Acquires Images In Motion
IRVINE, Calif., May 11, 2010 — The Post Modern Group (PMG) is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of Singapore based content service provider Images In Motion (IIM). The acquisition not only gives PMG a significant presence in Asia, but also adds a broad range of services which include IIM’s core Asian video and audio programming and production services, as well as design and print for in-flight publications.
Images In Motion, which is led by Executive Director Pravin Jumabhoy and Managing Director Leanne Ryan, has a staff of 13 including ten in Singapore and three in Beijing. Clients include 12 Asian airlines as well as numerous other carriers around the world for which IIM provides Asian audio programming through other CSPs. IIM is the leading AVOD encoding facility in S.E. Asia and also has linear and non-linear editing capabilities as well as audio and video cassette, CD/CD and DVD duplication capabilities in house. IIM will retain its name and will operate as a Post Modern Group company, working closely with PMG’s Airline Media Productions (AMP) division to provide content services and Post Modern Edit (PME) on the technical services side.
Amir Samnani who, together with former PME President Rick Warren took control of PMG last year as Managing Partners, said, “Rick and I are both delighted to be working with Pravin and his team. From the early days of our talks we identified many synergies between our two companies. The addition of IIM gives us a strong presence in Singapore and Asia which will enable us to provide a greater level of services to our existing clients such as Singapore Airlines. As a major supplier of audio programming, production and Asian destination programming, IIM also brings us added strength in those areas, as well as design and print for in-flight applications.”
